HVAA Softball programs are open to kids from 6 to 18 years of age as of 1/1/2022.  All 8U teams will play in an in-house league with other HVAA teams only and all games will be played at HVAA. Our U10, 12U, 14U, and 18U teams will participate in an intramural league, the Inter-County Softball Association League (ISA).

8 AND UNDER: Rookies (6-8 Year-Olds)

This division is coach and machine pitch.  This is a non-competitive in-house league and teaches the fundamentals of the game.  Every girl will have the opportunity to play each position and will bat multiple times each game. NEW THIS YEAR: Our 8U teams will participate in an in-house league that is played against other HVAA 8U Softball teams.

10 AND UNDER: Minors (8-10 Year-Olds)

The purpose is to further develop each player's skills in a more competitive setting.  Both windmill and sling shot pitching is done by the girls themselves.  All girls will have the opportunity to bat multiple times per game and will experience a variety of fielding positions.  

12 AND UNDER: Majors (10-12 Year-Olds)

The purpose is to further develop each player's skills in a more competitive setting.  Both windmill and sling shot pitching is done by the girls themselves.  The primary emphasis of Little League Softball is on education, skill development, participation for all levels of ability, and of course, having fun.

14 AND UNDER: Seniors (12-14 Year-Olds)

18 AND UNDER: Seniors (14-18 Year-Olds)
