Softball Pitching Clinics

We are offering two sessions of 5-week clinics for SOFTBALL PITCHERS. Kristy Richter is going to be running the softball pitching clinic for ages 7 and up! The pitching clinic is for HVAA Softball participants only.

All SOFTBALL CATCHERS can attend the clinics from 11:00-11:30am to catch for the pitchers. Catchers get free practice at the clinic so there is no fee for softball catchers.

 

2019 FALL SESSION 1 FOR SOFTBALL PITCHING CLINICS

Dates: (Sunday mornings) 

1st Session Dates: September 15, 22, 29, and October 6, 13

Time: 10:30 - 11:30 AM

Location: Red Lion Gym

 

SOFTBALL PITCHING CLINIC FEE

Pay Fee in Full: You can pay $150 for the full 5-week package to receive the discounted rate at $30/week. The $150 fee will be due on the first day of each session.

Pay Fee Weekly: If you know in advance that you will miss a week, you can pay the weekly rate of $35 for each week attended. You can submit all your weekly payments for your clinics at the first session or you can pay weekly at each clinic attended.

There are no refunds, exchanges or make-ups for missed sessions.

HVAA Softball League Information

HVAA softball intramural programs are open to kids from 6 to 14 years of age as of 1/1/2019.  

Little League 

8 AND UNDER (rookies) -  This division is machine pitch.  This is a non-competitive league and teaches the fundamentals of the game.  Every girl will have the opportunity to play each position and will bat multiple times each game.  

10 AND UNDER (minors)- The purpose to further develop each players skills in a more competitive setting.  Both windmill and sling shot pitching is done by the girls themselves.  All girls will have the opportunity to bat multiple times per game and will experience a variety of fielding positions.  

12 AND UNDER (majors)- The purpose to further develop each players skills in a more competitive setting.  Both windmill and sling shot pitching is done by the girls themselves.  The primary emphasis of Little League Softball is on education, skill development, participation for all levels of ability and of course, having fun.

14 AND UNDER (juniors)- The purpose to further develop each players skills in a more competitive setting.  Both windmill and sling shot pitching is done by the girls themselves.  The primary emphasis of Little League Softball is on education, skill development, participation for all levels of ability and of course, having fun.
